Role and Team
As a key member reporting to the Vehicle Inspection Manager or Lead, your primary duty is to support customers by accurately inspecting vehicles. You'll assess their condition for wear, neglect, mechanical issues, and prior damage while providing a professional face for ADESA.
Responsibilities
• Engage with customers—dealers or consumers—in a professional manner.
• Address customer inquiries with friendliness and courtesy; inform management of complaints or incidents.
• Ensure prompt and efficient service to all internal and external customers.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify any signs of wear, damage, or prior repairs.
• Complete inspections following defined protocols and capture results accurately using technology.
• Maintain a timely delivery of results while adhering to productivity expectations set by management.
• Collaborate with the Manager and sales team to enhance service quality.
• Ensure vehicles remain clean and are returned to their original state post-inspection.
• Submit detailed condition reports promptly using available technology.
• Carry out road tests as required.
• Stay updated on technological advancements and product developments.
• Foster knowledge about competitor products to enhance service offerings.
• Take on any additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of automotive experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license.
• Able to safely operate various makes and models of vehicles.
• Proficient in computer systems and applications.
