Automotive Service Dispatcher

Roy O'Brien Ford, located in St. Clair Shores, MI, is looking for an experienced Service Dispatcher to join our growing team. Roy O'Brien Ford is family owned & operated since 1946. Responsibilities Oversee the flow of vehicles in the Service Department Disperse jobs according to technician abilities Ensure that technicians reach working and available capacity. Meet service efficiency standards Maintain customer satisfaction scores at or above company standards. Report to the Service Director regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews and analysis. Attend training offered by the dealership and the manufacturer. Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month and year to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively. Understand the terminology of the automobile business and keep abreast of technological changes in the products. Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager. Follow safeguards and compliance rules and regulations. Requirements Ford Vehicle Service Experience preferred High school diploma or the equivalent. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Valid in-state driver's license with good driving record. Professional personal appearance. Excellent communication skills. All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, drug test, and valid driver license with good driving record.
