Automotive Purchasing Analyst

Y-Yard Auto and Truck, Inc. is looking for a Automotive Purchasing Assistant in Effingham, IL. We are an automotive recycling company that has been around for over 50 years. Due to expansion we are seeking an individual to work with our procurement team in the purchasing department. This position is directly involved in the daily buying of vehicles through websites, internet auctions, wholesale customers, and individuals, as well as pricing and analyzing inventory while studying the fair market value of the business. The majority of this position will be working in the office environment, but they do help us check in vehicles when they arrive. The successful candidate must have excellent computer and math skills, be detail oriented, have the ability to multitask in a fast paced, challenging yet fun environment. Previous experience buying vehicles or automotive knowledge is a plus but not necessary as we will train you in our procedures on-site when hired. This position will also earn additional compensation through our performance based bonus program. Hours will be 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday.
