This position is responsible for managing assigned commodity categories, including sourcing automotive components, negotiating pricing and terms, and executing purchase orders in alignment with company cost, quality, and delivery objectives.

r will evaluate and select suppliers, maintain ongoing supplier relationships, and collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to support new product launches and continuous improvement initiatives. Daily activities include monitoring market trends, analyzing cost structures, resolving supply issues, and ensuring compliance with company policies and automotive industry standards.
Strong skills in Supplier Evaluation and Supplier Management, including assessing supplier performance, quality, cost, and delivery reliability. Proficiency in Purchasing and Procurement activities, such as RFQs, contract negotiation, and purchase order execution. Knowledge of Supply Chain Management principles, including inventory control, logistics coordination, and demand planning. Experience in automotive commodities or manufacturing environments, with familiarity in production processes and quality requirements.
Ability to analyze data, manage cost reduction initiatives, and make informed decisions based on market and supplier performance trends. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and standard office software; experience with automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier systems is a plus.
