Automotive Porter / Fleet Operations Associate RideShare Carz | Garland, TX (DFW) | $20/hour | Full-Time, On-Site Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM About the Position RideShare Carz is hiring a dependable, hardworking Automotive Porter / Fleet Operations Associate to support vehicle preparation, transportation, recoveries, and day-to-day garage operations. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, arrives on time, and is comfortable handling different assignments throughout the day. Key Responsibilities · Vehicle Repossessions: Perform or assist with authorized vehicle recoveries in accordance with company procedures and applicable law. · Vehicle Detailing: Clean and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors to prepare cars for new rental customers. · Auction Pickups: Pick up purchased vehicles from auctions and transport them to company locations. · Test Driving: Test-drive vehicles and report mechanical concerns, unusual noises, or damage. · Vehicle Transportation: Move vehicles between locations, garages, dealerships, and repair shops. · Runner Duties: Pick up and deliver parts, supplies, documents, and other items as needed. · Garage Support: Help organize vehicles, maintain clean work areas, and assist with miscellaneous garage and fleet needs. · Vehicle Inspections: Photograph and document vehicle condition and report maintenance issues. Qualifications · Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required. · Dependable, punctual, and available for the posted Monday–Saturday schedule. · Comfortable driving different vehicles and performing physical, hands-on work. · Able to work independently, follow instructions, and communicate clearly. · Basic automotive knowledge preferred; detailing, towing/recovery, dealership, or rental fleet experience is a plus. · Able to work outdoors and in a garage environment in varying weather conditions.
