Automotive Parts Manager

Franchi Brothers Auto Body is looking for an organized, dependable Parts Manager to join our team at our new 33,000-square-foot facility. As a fourth-generation, family-owned business, we take pride in quality repairs and a shop that runs efficiently. This is a hands-on position responsible for managing parts from ordering through returns and credits. You’ll work closely with our estimators, production manager, and technicians to make sure the correct parts are available when needed and repairs stay on schedule. Responsibilities Order parts according to approved repair plans and supplements, verifying accuracy, pricing, and availability. Receive and inspect deliveries for damage, missing items, and incorrect parts. Mirror-match replacement parts with damaged parts alongside technicians before repairs begin. Label and organize parts by repair order, keeping parts carts and storage areas clean and accessible. Track backorders and delivery dates, follow up with vendors, and communicate delays promptly. Coordinate with estimators and the production manager to prioritize orders and resolve shortages. Match invoices to orders and accurately enter parts information into the shop’s management system. Process returns and core returns promptly, and track credits until received. Maintain vendor relationships and help control freight costs, unnecessary orders, and unreturned parts.
