Automotive parts manager

Job Overview The Automotive Parts Manager oversees parts sourcing, purchasing, inventory, and daily parts operations. This role coordinates with suppliers, service teams, and customers to keep parts available, records accurate, and workflows organized. Responsibilities Manage procurement, sourcing, purchasing, and supplier negotiations; monitor supply chain activity and use demand planning to guide stock levels. Maintain inventory and complete accurate data entry in DMS and utilize RIM parts management system. Apply mechanical knowledge to identify parts needs and coordinate with service department. Support customer service, organize parts handling. Your impact: Reliable parts availability helps colleagues complete work efficiently and gives customers timely, informed support. Qualifications Required: Practical purchasing, procurement, sourcing, negotiation, inventory coordination, data entry, and customer service capabilities, with working knowledge of General Motors systems and mechanical parts identification. Comfort using Reynolds and Reynolds or CDK systems. Preferred: Dealership experience, Possible opportunity for a counterman to advance career to Management.
