Automotive Parts Last‑Mile Driver

As our Last‑Mile Driver, you are the face of our service, delivering accuracy, safety, and great customer care. Schedule Monday–Friday; 5:00am–1:30pm or until all deliveries are complete; rotating Saturdays. Schedules can change with business needs and may include overtime. Core duties Operate a box truck under 26,001 lbs and complete 10–20 stops per route Maintain driver logs, fuel purchase records, and compliance documentation Arrive on time and deliver safely in all weather conditions Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections Use a company handheld to verify and record every delivery; collect payments as needed Assist with loading/unloading; operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or order pickers when required Lift 50 lbs throughout the shift; lift up to 80 lbs occasionally; team lift or use equipment for commercial tires Exert up to 40 lbs of pushing force when handling barrels or industrial/ag tires Plan for 8–12 hour workdays Other related tasks as assigned (with reasonable accommodations when appropriate) Compensation & benefits $21/hour starting pay; weekly pay cycle Quarterly bonus program Healthcare benefits starting day one 401(k) with employer contribution and match Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays Boot reimbursement and safe driving recognition On‑the‑job training, skill development, tuition reimbursement Employee discounts Safety, physical demands, and environment Operate equipment safely with or without reasonable accommodation. Expect frequent lifting up to 50 lbs and occasional lifting up to 80 lbs, plus up to 40 lbs of pushing force for certain products. You may roll, de‑stack, or team‑lift commercial tires and use mechanical aids as needed. PPE: steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, safety harness, seatbelt, SRL (self‑retracting lifeline). PPE is provided except boots; follow all manufacturer and safety guidelines. Environment: exposure to current weather; moderate noise; typical fumes related to tires and, at times, car parts and lubricants. Qualifications 21 years of age or older 1+ year of professional driving (cube van, box truck, or semi) and successful company road test Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company policy Able to train on and safely use powered industrial trucks and high‑reach lifts Lift 50 lbs consistently; occasionally lift to 80 lbs; push up to 40 lbs as needed Follows instructions and safe operating procedures; provides great customer service Available for overtime when required Valid DOT Medical Card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines (see the DOT/FMCSA website for details) Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana) Division U.S. AutoForce Agency policy U.S. Venture will not accept unsolicited resumes from recruiters or employment agencies.
