Automotive Parts Driver

Acton Toyota of Littleton is seeking a Parts Driver . Job Overview To deliver genuine Toyota parts to wholesale customers and pick up parts and equipment from vendors and other dealers as requested. Deliver parts and equipment to wholesale and/or retail accounts. Complete a log at the time of delivery and request the recipient’s signature. Collect payment from wholesalers, check payments received with invoices for each delivery Initiate credit applications for new accounts, check credit requests versus status lists. Ensure payments collected from parts deliveries are brought to the cashier and processed in a timely manner Pick up parts from wholesale locations and other dealers, inform appropriate individual when arriving back at dealership with parts Verify that invoices match purchase orders for each pick up Keeps parts delivery van on a routine maintenance schedule, fills gas tank when needed; notify parts manager when major repairs are needed Informs parts manager immediately if parts van is involved in an accident or damaged Assists with checking in, stocking and posting orders when they arrive Assure proper storage of all newly received parts; returns parts to proper location. Review parts to ensure all items are received for each order Help maintain the professional appearance of the parts department Turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts at end of shift PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to bend and lift up to 50lbs QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record according to dealership standards Ability to use a computer and calculator. Ability to communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors and other contacts. Professional personal appearance. SCHEDULE: We are seeking a full time parts driver, minimum of 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
