Duties Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct automotive parts and accessories based on their vehicle needs. Provide expert advice on vehicle maintenance, automotive diagnostics, and repair procedures to enhance customer satisfaction. Manage inventory levels using automotive parts management systems and ensure stock accuracy through inventory control practices. Process sales transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash and electronic payments accurately. Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, personalized service, and follow-up to foster loyalty. Collaborate with the service team to support automotive repair and maintenance activities, ensuring timely order fulfillment. Maintain a clean, organized parts counter area, stock shelves appropriately, and assist with stocking and merchandising efforts. Experience Proven experience in retail sales within an automotive parts store or dealership environment. Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills combined with knowledge of vehicle systems and automotive repair processes. Familiarity with inventory management software (CMMS or similar) and Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and Word. Excellent communication skills, including bilingual or multilingual abilities preferred for serving diverse customer bases. Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively, manage POS transactions, and handle cash with precision. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance procedures, and automotive parts sales is highly desirable. Previous experience working with dealership or auto repair shop environments will be considered an asset.
