Automotive Parts Counter Sales Associate

We have an immediate opening for an Entry-Level Automotive Parts Associate who aligns with our core values and acts with respect, intelligence, greatness, honesty, and teamwork. Previous dealership or parts experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate who is dependable, organized, motivated, and eager to learn. This entry-level position also offers room to grow within the Parts Department and throughout the dealership as you gain experience and develop your skills. Responsibilities include: Assist technicians, service advisors, and customers with locating and ordering automotive parts. Receive, inspect, label, organize, and stock incoming parts and accessories. Maintain an organized and accurate parts department and inventory area. Help process parts orders, returns, exchanges, and special orders. Assist with pulling and preparing parts for the Service and Collision departments. Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, technicians, and other dealership departments. Help monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies. Maintain accurate records of parts received and distributed. Assist with shipping and receiving duties when needed. Help keep the parts counter, storage areas, and workspaces clean and organized. Learn Chevrolet parts systems, catalogs, and dealership procedures. Provide excellent customer service and help create a positive experience for every customer. Perform additional Parts Department duties as assigned. Qualifications: Valid driver's license is a MUST. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team. Comfortable using computers and learning new dealership software. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to safely lift and move automotive parts and supplies as required. Automotive knowledge or previous parts experience is a plus, but not required.
