Automotive Parts Counter Person (Back Counter)

Auto Parts Counter Person Job Duties and Responsibilities: Assists service technicians with providing parts and availability needed to perform repairs Issues parts to repair order Calls vendors to procure parts as needed Serves as a back-up to the front counter when busy or to cover breaks Processes core for returns Processes new returned parts as required Assists in keeping parts department clean, orderly and ensuring all parts are stocked correctly Uses dealership equipment and resources safely and proficiently Assists in resolving customer complaints and concerns and ensures the problem is corrected to the customer and dealership’s satisfaction Participates in annual parts inventory Serve as a back-up for parts deliveries Other duties as assigned Auto Parts Counter Person Qualifications: Minimum of 2-years of related experience working in parts counter sales or equivalent preferred Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-pace environment Excellent attention to detail and highly organized Excellent customer service skills Be a team-player and have a positive attitude High school diploma or equivalent Auto Parts Counter Person Schedule Requirements: Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 5:30 pm, Every other Saturday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Will have early out days during the week when scheduled to work Saturdays We Offer: Competitive pay plan Paid vacation, medical, dental, vision and supplemental insurance Company-paid Life Insurance Paid holidays Employee assistance program (EAP) Employee discounts 401k Off Sundays Auto Parts Counter Person Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, type and use office equipment, talk and hear.
