Responsibilities Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct automotive parts and accessories to meet their vehicle needs. Provide detailed product information, technical advice, and troubleshooting support related to vehicle systems and automotive repairs. Manage inventory levels through effective stock control, order fulfillment, and inventory management systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and cashiering duties while maintaining excellent phone etiquette. Build strong customer relationships by understanding their needs, offering solutions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Collaborate with team members to organize stockroom layout, stocking procedures, and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Support automotive diagnostics and mechanical troubleshooting efforts by providing product recommendations aligned with vehicle maintenance requirements. Skills Extensive knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, and vehicle systems with the ability to apply mechanical troubleshooting skills. Strong communication skills in multiple languages (bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus) to effectively serve diverse customer bases. Proven experience in retail sales environments with a focus on auto parts or dealership settings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel for inventory management and organizational tasks. Familiarity with POS systems, inventory control processes, and automotive repair procedures. Excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels, order fulfillment, and maintain accurate records. Ability to negotiate effectively with customers while demonstrating excellent customer service skills. Mechanical knowledge combined with automotive diagnostics expertise to assist customers with vehicle maintenance questions.
