PARTS ADVISOR – EUROPEAN AUTOWERKS European Autowerks is a busy, well‑established European repair shop in Virginia Beach. What makes this different Stable schedule (Mon–Fri only) – no weekends Consistent car count and predictable workflow Organized service and technician teams Clear expectations and defined processes A shop that values accuracy, follow‑through and accountability No drama or micromanaging – just a high‑performing team What you’ll do Source, order and track parts with accuracy and urgency Look up parts in the system and provide knowledgeable information Research and procure OEM, aftermarket or salvage parts when required Provide logistical support to technicians and the workshop Maintain inventory and stock control Monitor stock levels, set minimum/maximum replenishment targets and verify receiving documents Perform regular counts and replenish consumables to ensure swift service for the shop and retail/trade customers Customer‑facing sales and service Assist customers in person, by phone or online to understand their needs and provide advice on parts, pricing and warranties Prepare quotes, invoices and handle warranty claims or returns Sell and upsell parts and accessories that meet customer needs Keep the parts counter clean and orderly and follow cash/credit procedures Appointments and online sales Schedule and manage service appointments to keep the shop flow smooth Handle online orders, answer online inquiries and facilitate the shipment of parts promptly Collaboration and follow‑through Coordinate with service advisors and technicians to ensure parts availability Follow up on back‑orders, shortages and vendor issues to keep jobs moving Maintain accurate records Ensure tool room inventory is upheld and accurate Support merchandising displays and help with housekeeping tasks as needed Step in to assist as a Service Advisor when needed to support shop flow, customer communication, and coverage during peak times or absences What we’re looking for Prior experience in automotive parts, service or a related role (European experience a plus) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills Comfortable filling in as a Service Advisor when needed, including customer communication, basic estimating support, and appointment coordination Positive attitude and a sense of servitude – you take pride in helping others succeed Comfortable using inventory management software, parts catalogues and Google Workspace High‑school diploma or equivalent; further automotive training or certifications are a bonus What you get Competitive compensation based on experience and performance (no cap for strong performers) Paid vacation & holidays (starts day one) Health, dental and vision insurance Stable Monday–Friday schedule in a professional, drama‑free shop Long‑term career opportunity – we’ve been serving Virginia Beach since 1992 A chance to work with a team that loves European vehicles and does things the right way Ready to join a winning team?
