You will analyze consumer credit applications, underwrite auto loan requests adhering to credit policies, and build consultative relationships with dealership finance personnel. Key Responsibilities: • Analyze retail automotive credit bureau reports, debt-to-income ratios, and financial statements. • Underwrite consumer loan and lease applications, rendering sound credit approval/decline decisions. • Maintain strong working relationships with Honda and Acura dealership F&I managers via timely phone callbacks. • Ensure full compliance with credit policy guidelines and the Truth in Lending Act (TILA). • Support operational workflows and contract funding within the Discounting Department. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related discipline (or equivalent experience). • Experience in consumer lending, credit underwriting, or automotive dealership finance. • Working knowledge of credit scoring models, credit bureaus, and consumer lending regulations. • Strong analytical reasoning, phone etiquette, and negotiation abilities. • Availability to work scheduled weekend shifts.
