Automated Side Load Truck Driver

Waste Operations Excellent Pay! Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving, including but not limited to, manual transmission, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tractor-trailers. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods to designated locations. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of our transportation operations. Responsibilities Operate various types of trucks including flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, and dump trucks. Execute route driving efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all trips. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the truck to uphold company standards. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in truck driving, preferably with manual transmission vehicles. Familiarity with various truck types such as roll-off trucks, refrigerated trailers, and flatbeds is preferred. Ability to navigate routes efficiently using GPS or maps. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) as required during loading/unloading processes. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
