Supervises and manages lot attendant, drivers, and detailers. Holds direct reports accountable for
their respective duties. Communicates and documents any HR related issues (performance, tardiness, etc.).
Schedules, coordinates and oversees daily schedules of drivers on inventory pickups/drop-offs.
Schedules, coordinates and oversees daily schedules of detailers and ensures all vehicles meet company standards.
Coordinates with all dealership personnel to coordinate prepping inventory for sale including photographer and sales staff.
Holds weekly huddles with direct reports and participates in management meetings.
Reviews and approves payroll time sheets for direct reports on weekly basis.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversees and manages transportation logistics of all incoming inventory including but not limited to updating daily internal logs, communicating with company buyers and vendors on scheduling and ensuring vehicles are delivered within acceptable timeframe.
Oversees inventory management and inspects all incoming cars to determine next steps. Communicates and delegates next steps to appropriate party (third party vendors, detailers, drivers, etc.)
Oversees usage of Carketa recon software program to ensure it is kept up to date and accurate as inventory moves through process. Responsible for daily maintenance of the program and updating team on delays.
Determine repair needs and order parts for cars currently in inventory, as needed. Coordinate with CEO to facilitate repair process in timely and efficient manner.
Oversees reconditioning process/software and ensures all vehicles are assigned a plan and subsequently progress through reconditioning process to prep for sale in timely and efficient manner. Communicates with CEO on open items and tasks related to prepping inventory for sale.
Checks in with sales staff each day to ensure sold inventory is ready for pick-up.
Manage physical inventory and maintains organized log of location of vehicles at offsite storage lots, repairs shops, or auction sites. Follows up with vendors on weekly basis on progress of vehicles and escalates any delays to CEO.
Creates daily plan for following day and sends to CEO for review and approval.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

2+ years of experience in automotive related industry, inventory management, and/or logistics.
