Warehouse AV Technician – Live Event Production Company: Empire Audio Visual Inc. Location: Mississauga, ON Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Compensation: Based on experience About Us Empire Audio Visual Inc. is a full-service live event production company specializing in corporate events, concerts, festivals, and conferences. We are looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Warehouse AV Technician to join our team. Key Responsibilities Pull, prepare, and pack AV equipment accurately according to event work orders and equipment lists. Receive, check, and process returned equipment , ensuring all items are accounted for, inspected, and returned to their designated locations. Test and inspect audio, video, lighting, and staging equipment before dispatch and upon return. Identify, report, and assist with troubleshooting damaged or malfunctioning equipment. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure equipment is properly organized. Assist with loading and unloading trucks for event deliveries and returns. Clean, maintain, and organize cables, road cases, and other AV equipment. Work closely with the warehouse and production teams to ensure orders are complete and ready on schedule. Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment. Qualifications Previous experience in an AV production warehouse or equipment rental environment preferred. Basic understanding of professional audio, video, and lighting equipment. Strong attention to detail, particularly when pulling orders and checking returns. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to lift equipment up to 50 lbs. Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Basic technical troubleshooting skills are an asset. Valid Ontario G driver's licence is an asset. What We Offer Full-time, permanent employment. Hands-on experience with professional AV equipment.
