In this pivotal role, you'll be the backbone of our auction operations. Your responsibilities include organizing and managing auction inventory, loading and unloading trucks, and engaging with buyers and sellers. We value independence and teamwork, so you'll have opportunities to work both autonomously and collaboratively. Forklift experience and a valid driver's license are essential, as you'll be handling various logistics tasks. While some overnight travel is part of the role, it's sporadic and depends on auction scheduling. If you're reliable, efficient, and ready to contribute to our growth story, we'd love to have you on board. Compensation: $18 - $20 hourly Responsibilities: Coordinate the receipt, storage, and shipment of auction inventory to ensure smooth operations. Efficiently load and unload trucks, maintaining the integrity of items during transit. Organize and prepare items for auction by lotting and photographing them for online listings. Engage with auction buyers and sellers, providing exceptional customer service and support. Collaborate with team members to solve problems and improve processes, fostering a positive work environment. Operate forklifts safely and responsibly, adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols. Travel occasionally to off-site auctions, adapting to varying schedules and locations as needed. Qualifications: Experience in warehouse operations, with a focus on inventory management and logistics. Ability to efficiently load and unload trucks, ensuring the safe handling of auction items. Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Ability to operate forklifts safely and responsibly, adhering to all safety guidelines. Strong organizational skills to prepare and photograph items for online auction listings. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with auction buyers and sellers.
