Associate Production Scheduler
SoTalentAssociate Production Scheduler Spartanburg, SC | Full-time A global marketing and manufacturing organisation is seeking an Associate Production Scheduler to plan, monitor and adjust production schedules to meet deadlines, optimise plant capacity and support efficient production. The role works closely with Sales, Maintenance and other business teams to manage scheduling requirements and resolve potential production challenges. Key Responsibilities Monitor and adjust production schedules while maintaining critical production and delivery deadlines. Provide production support during nights and weekends when required by the schedule. Participate in or lead production meetings with relevant business units. Communicate proposed production schedules and help identify and resolve potential roadblocks. Forecast longer-term production schedules based on Sales input and order management data. Enter and maintain scheduling information within production scheduling systems. Work with Sales to accommodate new work and changes to existing production requirements. Analyse production specifications and plant capacity data to develop efficient production plans. Plan production downtime and coordinate scheduling requirements with the Maintenance department. Balance production priorities, capacity and deadlines to support profitability and client satisfaction. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 1+ year of manufacturing experience , preferably within the print industry. Strong computer skills and basic mathematical ability. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments with tight deadlines. Strong process planning skills, with the ability to oversee processes from start to finish. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
