Associate Government Procurement Financial Analyst

Boeing is looking for Associate Government Procurement Financial Analysts to join our team at either of our beautiful locations in Hazelwood, MO or Mesa, AZ.

As a part of the Government Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA) team, PFAs support the development of the negotiation positions for the procurement of goods and services by conducting cost/price analysis of supplier proposals. PFAs support U.S. Government, Foreign Military Sale, and Direct Commercial Sale type contracts across multiple programs and platforms. Quantitative and statistical methods are used to correlate, compile and analyze supplier cost and non-cost data.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, strong presentation and attention to detail skills.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Analyze supplier proposals to determine a fair and reasonable price position

  • Conduct cost/price analyses using statistical tools, market trend data and parametric models

  • Substantiate cost estimates and lead supplier and customer negotiations

  • Cross functional collaboration with Finance, Engineering, and Supply Chain

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and regulatory agency requirements

  • Ability to travel if needed

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 1+ years of experience in business-related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management)

  • 1+ years of experience in Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with and/or exposure to supplier related data

  • Experience in performing business case or financial analysis
