Associate Dispatcher

Job#: 3053669 Job Description: Title: Dispatcher Location: Evansville, Indiana Duration: 6+ month open ended contract Logistics: In office 5x per week - Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm CST, with rotating weekend shifts as needed. Pay Rate: $19-21/hr Role Overview This position monitors, dispatches, and balances work orders for field personnel. The role involves responding to information requests and facilitating communication between customer service representatives and field staff. This function is integral to supporting daily and emergency operations. Key Responsibilities Answers telephones and performs call-ahead requests for field technicians. Receives and dispatches non-emergency work orders. Dispatches orders utilizing a Mobile Data and Dispatching Solution. Monitors, routes, and documents work orders for service technicians and reviews backlogged orders. Coordinates daily operational requirements among internal and external stakeholders. Resolves scheduling concerns between the company’s call center, customers, and supervision. Acts as a liaison between the company, customers, and governmental agencies during emergency situations. Required Qualifications Education: Requires a high school diploma or GED. Experience: Requires one year of experience with SAP or a mobile data dispatching system, and at least one year of experience supporting gas distribution operations or equivalent dispatching experience. Work Schedule The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM CT, with rotating weekend shifts.
