The Associate Director, Logistics Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement is responsible for driving operational excellence, productivity, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives across global logistics operations. This role partners with Logistics, Manufacturing, Procurement, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to improve service, reduce costs, optimize processes, and accelerate logistics transformation through Lean methodologies, data analytics, and digital solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead the global Logistics Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement program. Identify and execute productivity initiatives across transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations. Develop and deploy Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies. Drive logistics cost reduction, service improvement, and process optimization programs. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action plans for operational performance gaps. Establish and monitor logistics KPIs, scorecards, and performance management processes. Partner with regional logistics teams to standardize best practices and operating procedures. Support warehouse and transportation procurement initiatives by identifying productivity and process improvement opportunities. Lead implementation of automation, digitalization, AI, and process transformation initiatives. Collaborate with Finance to track savings realization and productivity targets. Develop operational excellence roadmaps aligned with business objectives. Build a culture of continuous improvement across the logistics organization. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field. 10+ years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Warehousing, Manufacturing, or Operations. 5+ years of leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and transformation initiatives. Preferred Qualifications MBA or Master's degree. Strong knowledge of transportation and warehouse operations. Experience leading Lean, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, or Productivity programs. Proven track record delivering cost savings and operational improvements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with KPI development, performance management, and process mapping. Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Excel, Tableau, or other analytics tools. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification. Experience with TMS, WMS, ERP, and supply chain technology platforms. Experience in logistics network optimization and transportation productivity programs. Exposure to AI, automation, robotics, or digital transformation initiatives. Pay Range The annual salary for this position is between $143,000.00 - $286,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
