Associate, Bot Production
MYTraAbout Mytra: We’re creating an entirely new way to solve the most ubiquitous problem in industry - moving and storing material. We’re applying robotics and distributed software to create a new class of product for this $1T market. We’re focused on the supply chain industry first. The industry is in a massive bind with the continued growth of e-commerce, sharp rise in costs, and supply chain disruptions. What has been a “sleepy” industry for decades is now at the epicenter of sustaining the global economy. About the role: You're not just joining the Bot Production Team , you're helping launch it. As a Bot Production Associate on Mytra's new Bot Production Team, you're the person who builds our bots, the same way, to the same standard, every single time. This is a hands-on assembly role on a growing production line, where quality and repeatability matter as much as pace. You'll build to released work instructions, hit daily build and quality targets, and take real pride in a clean, well-run station and a product built right the first time. You'll ramp deep on the product, learning these bots station by station alongside experienced technicians, and then carry that craftsmanship onto the line as we scale. As one of the founding members of the Bot Production Team, you won't be stepping into someone else's process, you'll be the one building it. The way you build, the standards you hold, and the habits you set will become the playbook every associate who follows you is trained on. This is a role for someone who likes doing a job well and doing it consistently, who notices when something's off, and who wants to pioneer a brand-new team from the ground floor and set the standard for its future. What you'll do: Build bots to released specs, SOPs, and work instructions , holding to the current validated revision so only good product moves forward. Own first-pass quality at your station, catching issues early and building it right the first time rather than passing problems downstream. Meet and improve on takt time and daily build targets , working diligently to hit customer demand and delivery commitments. Perform in-process quality checks as defined in the work instructions, and, as you grow, take on delegated quality checks across the line. Flag build issues, part problems, and anything that looks off to your Production Lead promptly and clearly, rather than building past it. Keep an organized, ergonomic, and safe workstation, following shop and PPE practices without being asked. Track your own build counts, times, and output accurately in the systems we use (Linear, Notion, Slack, Google, NetSuite). Suggest improvements to process , setup, and workflow, knowing which get adopted and which don't, and helping make the good ones stick. Help onboard and support new associates as the team grows, and help build the culture of the team from day one. Ideal Candidates: Have hands-on assembly, production, or manufacturing experience, ideally with electro-mechanical hardware, robotics, or comparable technical assembly. Take pride in repeatability and process discipline: building to SOPs, holding a quality bar, and hitting schedule in a delivery-driven environment. Work carefully and precisely, and notice when a part, fit, or step isn't right. Can read and build to work instructions, drawings, and BOMs, and follow revision changes across builds. Have solid assembly fundamentals: hand tools, fastening, and an eye for build quality. Communicate clearly, show up on time and ready, and are dependable teammates who keep the line healthy. Are comfortable in an industrial environment working around heavy equipment, and follow shop safety practices without being asked. Nice to have: Experience on a scaling assembly or production line. Familiarity with 3D models or CAD (Onshape a plus; we'll give you time to ramp), enough to communicate build issues clearly. Exposure to ERP/PLM systems (NetSuite, Arena) and ticketing/collab…
