Assistant Warehouse Manager – Processing & Shelving
iLogisticts LLCAbout the position We are a growing, high-volume fulfillment warehouse with about 60 employees. We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Assistant Manager. This is not a desk-management position. You will work directly alongside our processing and shelving team while gradually taking responsibility for keeping daily warehouse operations organized, productive and on schedule. The right person will begin by learning every part of our operation, including receiving, processing, shelving and inventory organization. After demonstrating strong performance and judgment, this person will take on responsibility for opening and securing the facility, directing daily work and running the departments when the manager is away. Responsibilities Work alongside the processing and shelving team Organize daily workloads and keep employees productive Build shift schedules and cover call-outs Make sure all inventory is shelved on time Track employee productivity against our KPIs Train new employees Coach underperformers and enforce workplace expectations Open and secure the warehouse after completing the training period Track down missing inventory and fix the root cause Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area Communicate problems immediately and provide clear operational updates Run the departments when the manager is away What we are looking for Excellent attendance, punctuality and reliability 3+ years of lead or supervisory experience in a warehouse, fulfillment or production environment Ability to lead a team while performing physical warehouse work Ability to stay productive without constant supervision Honesty, good judgment and attention to detail Comfortable with numbers and Google Sheets or Excel Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift and lift up to 50 lbs Reliable transportation Spanish is a plus Compensation and advancement Starting pay is $24–$27 per hour, depending on experience. This position offers a path toward increased pay and responsibility as you demonstrate results. This position is best suited for someone who takes ownership of their work, wants long-term stability and is interested in growing into a key operational role.
