Assistant Warehouse Manager

Job Summary We are seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager to help keep our warehouse and production equipment running smoothly. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining machinery, managing and performing receiving duties, and assisting with inventory control to ensure materials and products are accurately received, stored, and tracked. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain warehouse and production machinery Perform routine inspections and basic preventive maintenance on equipment Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs when needed Manage and perform receiving responsibilities, including unloading shipments and verifying them against purchase orders and packing slips Inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies and report any issues Put away received materials in the correct locations Assist with inventory control, including cycle counts and maintaining accurate inventory records Operate a forklift safely to move, load, and unload materials Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards Qualifications Current forklift certification (required) Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools Experience with receiving and inventory processes Strong organizational and time management skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Leadership or supervisory experience preferred Compensation & Schedule Annual Salary: $60,000 Expected hours: 40 hours per week 8:30am – 5pm Weekend work as needed Benefits 401(k) Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Pay: $60,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
