ASSISTANT WAREHOUSE MANAGER

Job Summary: The Chechessee Creek Club Assistant Warehouse Manager is responsible for supervising and ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager and oversees all staff in the event of their absence or days off. All duties of the Warehouse Manager default to this person in such instances. Job Tasks (Duties) Receive, inspect and record deliveries for accuracy and quality. Ensure all items match the purchase orders and report any discrepancies. Fill orders accurately based on customer orders. Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock counts, and report low levels to management. Manage the flow of goods, including shipping and receiving. Manage the task list schedule for cleaning assignments. Assist in staff scheduling and organization of duties. Assist in inventory tracking and researching discrepancies. Ensure the work area and warehouse are clear of any debris or safety hazards. Organize products to allow for efficient identification, retrieval, and distribution. Coordinate the timely distribution of goods to Food & Beverage, Golf, Maintenance, Administration, Retail, and other Club departments. Assist with transporting merchandise throughout Club property as needed. REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Attention to detail. Physical stamina; this position requires an extended amount of time standing and lifting. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent Two years of computer use / basic knowledge The ability to read, write, and execute basic math skills Supervision experience Available to work morning, nights, weekends and holidays as needed based on Club volume. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The work requires the regular exertion of 50 pounds or more of force and frequent exertion of 50 pounds or more of force. Work regularly requires standing for long periods of time, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, bending, stretching, and twisting or reaching, using hands to finger, handle or feel, and repetitive motions, pushing, pulling or lifting 50 pounds or more. Work has regular vision requirements; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels. Work requires preparing and analyzing written or computer data. Work has some exposure to environmental conditions; work is in a hot, humid, and noisy environment with heavy traffic. #c3g
