Assistant Warehouse Manager - 3PL Logistics, Bilingual (Chinese/English)

Overview We are looking for an Assistant Warehouse Manager to support the daily operations of our New Jersey warehouse, with a focus on e-commerce fulfillment, one-by-one order fulfillment, package forwarding, and logistics operations . This role is ideal for someone who already has hands-on warehouse or logistics experience and is looking to build a long-term career in logistics and supply chain management . We are not simply looking for someone who can manage daily warehouse tasks. We are especially interested in candidates who have a process-improvement mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and an interest in using data and technology to improve warehouse operations . Duties Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment. Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. Oversee inventory management practices to ensure accuracy and availability of stock. Utilize transportation management systems for effective logistics planning and execution. Develop and maintain budgets related to warehouse operations, ensuring adherence to financial goals. Lead a team of warehouse supervisors and staff, providing training and support to enhance performance. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse efficiency, inventory turnover, and order accuracy. Collaborate with procurement teams for effective materials management and purchasing decisions. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices within the warehouse environment. Experience 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, e-commerce fulfillment, logistics, distribution, or related fields Experience with e-commerce fulfillment, 3PL is preferred Familiar with receiving, inventory, picking, packing, and shipping workflows Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment Able to manage priorities and coordinate multiple operational tasks Basic to intermediate Excel skills Experience with WMS, ERP, shipping software, or warehouse systems is a plus Previous team lead, supervisor, or assistant manager experience is preferred but not required Fluent bilingual in Chinese and English; .
