Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures Lead and motivate the retail sales team to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize product presentation and availability Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new employees Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, and cash handling with accuracy and integrity Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills in retail sales, POS systems, and customer service Skills Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles within a retail environment Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills and managerial confidence Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for sales transactions and budgeting Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of merchandising, pricing strategies, and inventory control techniques Demonstrated ability in supervising staff, conducting interviews, training team members, and managing shift operations Familiarity with payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and operational management practices Excellent customer service skills with phone etiquette and organizational acumen Experience in retail store environments is advantageous but not mandatory Join us as an Assistant Store Manager to lead with enthusiasm, develop your managerial expertise, and make a meaningful impact on our customers’ shopping experience!
