Assistant Store Manager Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to support the daily operations of our restaurant location. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring excellent customer service. This position offers an opportunity to develop managerial skills within a dynamic retail environment, contributing to the overall success of the store. Responsibilities Assist in overseeing daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning. Supervise and motivate team members, fostering a positive work environment and promoting excellent customer service. Manage inventory levels, including stock replenishment, stock organization, and inventory control to minimize shrinkage and optimize product availability. Utilize POS systems for sales transactions, returns, exchanges, and reporting purposes with accuracy and efficiency. Communicate effectively with team members and management through managerial communication practices to ensure clear understanding of goals and expectations. Support management in implementing store policies, procedures, and visual merchandising standards. Supervise staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to maintain high operational standards. Skills Proven supervisory or management experience in a retail setting. Strong communication skills for effective managerial communication with staff and customers. Proficiency with Square POS systems for processing transactions accurately. Excellent inventory management skills to oversee stock levels and reduce losses. Leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation. Organizational skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
