Assistant Store Manager

Duties Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows Lead, motivate, and supervise team members to achieve sales goals and deliver top-tier customer service Assist with employee orientation, training & development to build a knowledgeable and engaged team Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and promote customer satisfaction Support purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to boost store performance Oversee cash handling, cashiering procedures, payroll processing, and bookkeeping tasks with accuracy Conduct interviewing and recruiting efforts to attract talented candidates for retail roles Implement effective marketing initiatives and sales strategies to increase foot traffic and revenue Maintain organized records of sales data, inventory levels, and financial transactions using POS systems Experience Proven assistant manager or supervisory experience within retail stores or grocery environments Strong management skills with experience supervising teams in fast-paced settings Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued Demonstrated proficiency in retail math, budgeting, cash handling, and inventory management Skilled in negotiation, employee orientation, training & development, and leadership development Familiarity with POS systems, purchasing procedures, merchandising techniques, and store management software Experience in retail sales environments such as grocery stores or wireless sales is advantageous Ability to multitask effectively with strong organizational skills and time management capabilities Knowledge of retail marketing strategies and promotional planning is a plus Join us as an Assistant Store Manager where your energy fuels our success!
