In this role, you will support the store’s daily operations, help lead a dynamic team, and ensure our customers have a fantastic shopping experience. Duties Assist in overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures. Support the management team in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees. Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and resolving customer inquiries or complaints. Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential. Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, and cash handling with accuracy and attention to detail. Supervise staff schedules, shift management, and training & development initiatives. Utilize POS systems for sales transactions, pricing adjustments, and sales management tasks. Experience Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in retail or grocery stores is preferred. Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, and recruiting are essential. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Proven track record in retail sales management, inventory management, and merchandising. Experience with retail math, budgeting, marketing strategies, and store management is highly valued. Excellent communication skills combined with organizational skills to lead teams effectively. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math concepts is important for success in this role.
