Responsibilities Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures. Lead and motivate the retail sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service. Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities. Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive shopping experience. Support hiring, onboarding, training, and developing team members to foster a high-performing workforce. Oversee POS (Point of Sale) systems, cash handling, and payroll processing with accuracy. Coordinate purchasing decisions and manage pricing strategies to optimize profitability. Skills Proven experience in retail store management or assistant manager roles within the retail industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and develop a diverse team. Excellent communication skills for effective managerial communication and customer interactions. Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic bookkeeping practices. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Skilled in negotiation, purchasing, budgeting, and operational management to drive store success. Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail in stock control and sales management.
