Job Details Position: Assistant Shipping Manager Type: Full-time Pay: $23.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience Schedule: Monday–Friday with required evening availability for weekly live sales Training Period: 90-day introductory period with ongoing training Travel: Some travel required for gem shows and company events Benefits Benefits are available to eligible full-time employees following successful completion of the introductory period and include: Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance 401(k) Paid time off Sick leave Employee discount Role Overview Pink Heart Healing is looking for a dependable and highly organized Assistant Shipping Manager to work alongside our Shipping Manager and support the day-to-day operations of our shipping and fulfillment department. This is a hands-on role focused on shipping, fulfillment, quality control, organization, and problem-solving. You will regularly pick, pack, and ship customer orders while also taking ownership of key tasks and helping keep the department running smoothly. We are looking for someone who can become a reliable second set of hands for our Shipping Manager, someone who can work independently, follow tasks through to completion, recognize and communicate problems, and resolve routine issues without requiring constant direction. Experience with crystals is not required. Experience with e-commerce fulfillment, shipping, warehouse operations, or another detail-oriented environment is strongly preferred. We host weekly live sales, fulfill orders nationwide and internationally, and attend gem shows and events throughout the year. Please let us know if you have any allergies. Responsibilities Shipping & Order Fulfillment Pick, verify, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently. Safely package fragile, high-value, and one-of-a-kind crystal specimens. Process shipments using Shopify and our shipping software. Maintain accuracy and quality during high-volume fulfillment periods. Complete quality-control checks before orders leave our facility. Keep packing and shipping areas clean, organized, and properly stocked. Help ensure orders are completed within company shipping deadlines. Customer & Shipping Support Assist with shipping-related customer questions and special requests. Help investigate missing, delayed, damaged, or incorrectly delivered packages. Monitor order status and outstanding fulfillment issues. Coordinate with the Shipping Manager or management when an issue requires escalation. Live Sales Participate in weekly live sales, including required evening availability. Pull, organize, and stage sold items in real time. Accurately label and track customer purchases. Work with the team in a fast-paced sales environment. Help transition live-sale purchases into post-sale fulfillment. Additional Operational Support Assist with inventory movement and communication between departments. Support special projects, event preparation, and gem shows as needed. Assist with other operational responsibilities when necessary. What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Previous experience in shipping, fulfillment, e-commerce, warehouse operations, or a similar environment preferred. Ability to work independently without requiring constant supervision. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to recognize a problem, communicate it, and help find a solution.
