DFW Aquarium SuppliesJob Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Receiving and Load / Stock Manager to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory, ensuring seamless warehouse operations. Responsibilities Coordinate the receiving process by verifying inbound shipments against purchase orders using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RFID scanners. Manage the loading and unloading of goods utilizing equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry into inventory management software and ERP systems like AS400 or MRP platforms. Organize stock placement within the warehouse, utilizing RF scanners for efficient order picking, packing, and stocking activities. Prepare shipments for outbound delivery by packaging products according to shipping & receiving standards while ensuring trade compliance and international trade regulations are met. Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize warehouse distribution processes and improve overall warehouse operations. Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy; utilize basic math skills for calculations. Support customer service efforts by providing timely updates on order status and resolving any shipping or receiving issues promptly. Experience Proven experience in warehouse management, shipping logistics, or inventory management roles. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP software, and inventory management software. Hands-on experience operating warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers. Strong understanding of warehouse operations, stocking procedures, packaging techniques, and order fulfillment processes. Basic math skills for inventory calculations and data entry accuracy are essential. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
