For this search, we welcome applications from all candidates whose research complements or expands the department’s strengths in the broad areas of geochemistry, cosmochemistry, solid-earth geophysics, planetary evolution or those whose work is aligned with the efforts of the University’s Center for the Origins of Life. We seek individuals who will lead world-class research programs and enhance the intellectual endeavors of the department and the university. Ongoing research activities can be found on the department website. Note: The Department is carrying out a parallel search for an Assistant Professor across all areas of Earth and Planetary Sciences. Additionally, Associate Professor and Professor appointments require evidence of leadership in the field and successful independent research record. Base Salary Ranges For These Positions Are Assistant Professor: $120,000 - $150,000 Associate Professor: $130,000 - $165,000 Professor: $155,000 - $210,000 These base pay ranges are for a nine-month academic appointment. Individuals may be eligible for summer salary. These positions may be eligible for a taxable moving allowance. These positions are benefits-eligible.
