You'll have the opportunity to: Lead and develop supervisors, team leads, and production personnel Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve quality, efficiency, and employee experience Influence manufacturing strategy, scheduling, inventory management, and operational performance Help create a highly engaged, cross-trained workforce Serve as a trusted leader capable of stepping in for the Production Manager when needed Work in a clean, organized manufacturing environment focused on safety, quality, and accountability Enjoy a predictable first-shift schedule with typical work hours of 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing you to lead a high-performing operation while maintaining evenings and weekends for family, personal interests, and life outside of work. What You'll Be Doing As Assistant Production Manager, you'll be both a people leader and an operational leader. You will: Develop Exceptional Teams Coach and mentor supervisors, team leads, and production employees Build workforce capability through training, cross-training, and employee development Foster a culture where accountability, teamwork, safety, and quality are expected and celebrated Improve Manufacturing Performance Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives Analyze operational metrics and use data to make informed decisions Improve productivity, quality, throughput, and cost performance Help implement systems and processes that support sustainable operational excellence Lead Manufacturing Operations Assist in directing manufacturing activities across multiple departments Develop production schedules that meet customer commitments Support inventory, capacity planning, and resource allocation Ensure products are manufactured to established quality standards Build the Future Partner in recruiting and hiring top operational talent Participate in strategic planning and operational improvement initiatives Support new product manufacturability and process development Help implement technologies and systems that improve business performance What Success Looks Like You're the type of leader who: Builds trust quickly Naturally coaches and develops others Enjoys solving complex manufacturing challenges Uses data to drive decisions Sees inefficiencies and takes action Creates positive momentum wherever you work Leads by example and isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience 5+ years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience Experience in discrete manufacturing environments Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, quality systems, and continuous improvement Experience with production scheduling, inventory control, ERP systems, and operations management Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills A demonstrated ability to develop people and improve operational performance Why Amatrol?
