Overview
Assistant Operations Leaders are responsible for assisting Operations Leaders in all areas of the business. They lead shifts, lead breaks, manage labor and food cost, ensure food safety, ensure food quality, ensure excellence in service, ensure restaurant and property cleanliness, and drive continual evaluation, coaching, and encouragement of Shift Leaders and Team Members. Assistant Operations Leaders also have the responsibility of assisting in making the Purpose, Vision and Mission of the Owner a reality and serving as front-line ambassadors of Second Mile Service.
Qualifications / Skills
Demonstrated ability to lead shifts and drive consistent standards under pressure
Strong judgment, professionalism, emotional intelligence and ability to model Chick-filA standards
Strong coaching, communication, and accountability skills (including corrective conversations)
Ability to manage labor and food cost levers in real time
Strong service/hospitality orientation and ability to reinforce Second Mile Service expectations
Problem-solving skills to identify recurring issues and contribute to practical improvements
Reliability and follow-through on assigned responsibilities and projects
