Assistant Manager - Restaurant

Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees, providing comprehensive training on customer service, POS systems, inventory management, and sales techniques Manage employee schedules, shift assignments, and payroll processing to optimize staffing levels and operational efficiency Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, pricing strategies, and loss prevention measures Drive sales growth through effective team management, marketing initiatives, and customer engagement strategies Ensure high standards of customer service by coaching staff on communication skills, phone etiquette, and problem resolution Monitor store financials including budgeting, cash handling procedures, bookkeeping accuracy, and sales reporting Requirements Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervising responsibilities Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, and recruiting processes Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively Extensive knowledge of POS systems, retail math, cashiering procedures, and inventory management tools Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in training & development and team motivation Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently across multiple tasks such as merchandising, stocking, and marketing initiatives Familiarity with retail sales techniques including pricing strategies and sales management practices Experience in shift management, cash handling protocols, budgeting processes, and store operations oversight Exceptional communication skills coupled with a professional phone etiquette to foster positive customer interactions Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience preferred; familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store operations is a plus Join us as a Manager to lead with energy and purpose!
