Assistant Manager of Transportation DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Providing complete oversight of Charter and School trips which includes dispatching and assignment of drivers for the trips including locations and mapping and reporting through financial software.
• Various tasks relating to routing software including but not limited to, bus registrations, route planning, administration.
• Entering driver timesheets to payroll.
• Assisting with the financial budgeting and granting processes, bus tenders, staff recruiting, bus sales, routing and other tasks as assigned by the Manager.
• Assist the Transportation Manager with student discipline issues.
• Collaborating with the Transportation Manager to provide a safe and sustainable transportation service.
• Compliance of the National Safety Code program as it pertains to the School Bus Industry.
• Other duties as assigned by the Transportation Manager.
• Be available weekends and evenings to address issues that may arise.
Start date: When a suitable candidate has been found.

Starting Salary: $61,288 full-time annual (dependent upon experience and qualifications) plus benefits.
