Left Field BreweryPosition Assistant Manager of Events Type Full-Time, Hourly (35-44 hrs/week) Location Various - 36 Wagstaff Drive, 40 Hanna Avenue, off-site events Compensation $24.50 / hour + tips Vacation 10 days (4% vacation pay) Benefits Health & Dental Benefits, Healthcare Spending Account, employee beer & apparel discounts, paid sick leave and breaks, phone allowance This individual will work alongside the Director of Tap Room & Events and support the coordination, planning, promotion and on-site activation of events to generate growth and engagement of Left Field Brewery brands. They will be the lead representative at various events where Left Field Brewery beer and food is sold and/or promoted. This includes but is not limited to beer festivals, sporting events, farmers' markets and community events. This individual will also play a role in supporting the planning and execution of internal brewery events at both locations. This individual will work at either location in a customer-facing service and support capacity, especially during events, in order to meet full time hours requirements. RESPONSIBILITIES EXTERNAL EVENTS - Managing all aspects of on-site event activations - Managing, training and coaching of brand ambassadors - Greeting and providing exceptional service to event guests - Engaging and educating consumers on our brands, the brewing process and our brewery - Communicating with on-site and off-site event organizers to troubleshoot issues - Sample draught and packaged beer and/or sell packaged beer to-go - Support the preparation of and sale of Left Field Brewery food products - Set-up, break down and maintain a high-impact, clean and tidy branded serving area - Organize and transport equipment, beer, food, merchandise and promotional materials to and from events - Inventory tracking & ordering - Cash handling including use of mobile POS and credit/debit processing - Develop pre-event checklists and event briefs - Post-event reporting & ekos management - Maintenance and cleaning of all event equipment - Grow customer loyalty through Fan Club sign ups - Generate event-specific, real-time social media content - Adhere to AGCO Beverage Alcohol Retail Sales and Smart Serve Regulations and Food Handlers requirements LIBERTY VILLAGE KITCHEN POP-UPS - Prepare and schedule the movement of pop-up food & equipment - Inventory management, placing supplies orders - Menu updating and communication with Marketing, Tap Room and Kitchen about changes - Identify opportunities for program optimization including but not limited to process and procedure improvements to drive efficiency and guest experience enhancements - Act as the central point of communication between the Liberty Village Kitchen, Leslieville Tap Room, Marketing and Distribution/Logistics to optimize event planning and activation - Assist with set up of space, and service when necessary ADMINISTRATION, SUPPORT & INTERNAL EVENTS - Support the planning, administration, promotion and activation of internal and external events for Left Field Brewery, across both of our locations - Manages events email inbox - Manages the on-site activation and hosting of internal events, as needed (including but not limited to Euchre League, Oktoberfest, Cribbage Tournaments, Beer Tastings & Tours) - Liaises with vendors, event planners, suppliers and customers regarding events - Communicates all event details internally across all departments through the development of event briefs and other tools - Maintains detailed, organized, and accurate event files, calendars and promotional needs summaries for marketing collateral development - Creates Eventbrite pages for in-house events - Supports the ideation of digital event promotions via web, social, e-mail and PR initiatives to help drive awareness of events - Post-event reporting and reconciliation - Other administrative tasks as assigned - Provides support to FOH teams at both locations during events and regular service in order to meet full tim…
