Assistant Manager

Duties Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets through effective coaching and training Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, ensuring a positive shopping experience Support hiring processes by participating in interviewing and onboarding new employees Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, and payroll processing accurately and efficiently Maintain organizational standards by supervising stock control, pricing accuracy, and store cleanliness Skills Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles within the retail industry Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a diverse team Excellent communication skills, including managerial communication and phone etiquette Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management software, and basic bookkeeping tools Demonstrated ability in negotiation, purchasing, and operational management Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective customer engagement Skilled in employee orientation, training & development, and team supervision Sound knowledge of retail math, budgeting, sales management, and merchandising principles Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail in inventory control and stock management Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities accurately while maintaining high customer service standards Experience in grocery or specialty retail stores is a plus; familiarity with retail sales techniques is essential Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment Join us as an Assistant Manager if you’re eager to lead with energy, excel in operational excellence, and inspire your team to deliver outstanding retail experiences!
