Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Manager to join our retail team and drive excellence across store operations. Duties Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including sales, inventory control, and customer service excellence Supervise and motivate retail staff, providing coaching, training, and development to enhance team performance Assist with recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates and onboarding new employees Manage scheduling, shift management, and payroll processing to ensure smooth store functioning Oversee inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment, merchandising, pricing accuracy, and stock control Handle cash register operations including cashiering, cash handling, POS system management, and balancing tills Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures while fostering a positive team environment Qualifications Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles within the retail industry sales team management environment Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively and communicate managerial expectations clearly Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for sales calculations and bookkeeping Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively Experience with payroll processing, purchasing, budgeting, and operational management is preferred Demonstrated skills in negotiation, customer service excellence, employee orientation, training & development, and sales management Knowledge of retail math concepts such as pricing strategies and sales analysis is essential Exceptional communication skills along with phone etiquette and organizational abilities to foster team collaboration Join us as an Assistant Manager where your leadership will inspire your team to deliver outstanding service while driving store success.
