Role Description The Assistant Logistics Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in New York, NY. This role supports the planning, coordination, and execution of logistics activities across the global supply chain, including inbound and outbound shipments. Day-to-day responsibilities include tracking orders, monitoring freight and delivery timelines, coordinating with suppliers and carriers, and ensuring accurate documentation for customs and compliance. The Assistant Logistics Manager collaborates with internal teams such as production, merchandising, and finance to align inventory flows with business needs. The role also involves assisting with process improvements, resolving logistics issues, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders to ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Logistics Management and Supply Chain Management skills to coordinate global shipments and optimize end-to-end operations. Candidates should possess Inventory Management skills to track stock levels, reconcile discrepancies, and support accurate demand planning. Candidates should possess Procurement skills to assist in sourcing, purchase order management, and vendor coordination. Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to respond to partner inquiries, resolve delivery issues, and maintain professional communication. Relevant experience in apparel, retail, or consumer goods logistics is beneficial, along with proficiency in Excel or other data tools and familiarity with ERP or WMS systems. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment are important. A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
