Assistant Installation Manager

Seifert Transit Graphics , a national leader in transit bus and rail graphics, is seeking a highly organized and hands-on Assistant Installation Manager to support installation operations at our Westmorland, NY facility. This role serves as a key operational leader within our installation department, helping coordinate materials, vehicle flow, inventory, quality control, and project readiness for bus and rail graphics installations across North America. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who enjoys leading from the floor, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This is an active, hands-on position that combines operational coordination, inventory management, and installation quality oversight. What You'll Do Assist the Installation Manager in overseeing daily installation operations Coordinate installation materials, graphics, tooling, and consumables for active projects Ensure workstations, carts, and installation areas are properly staged and ready for production Coordinate the movement and tracking of buses through the installation process Perform quality inspections of buses during and after graphic installation to ensure all work meets company and customer standards Verify graphics are installed accurately, consistently, and free from defects Identify, document, and coordinate corrective actions for installation issues. Coordinate replacement materials for damaged, missing, or defective graphics Manage rejected materials and quality concerns through the Rejection Control process Conduct inventory cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records Monitor consumable inventory levels and coordinate replenishment orders Maintain organized, safe, and efficient installation and inventory areas. Work closely with project management, production, inventory, and installation teams to ensure project success Serve as a point of contact for installation staff when the Installation Manager is unavailable Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and operational excellence What We're Looking For Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Comfortable using computers and learning ERP Dependable, self-motivated, and capable of taking ownership of responsibilities Preferred Qualifications Experience leading or supervising manufacturing, production, installation, warehouse, or operations teams Experience with quality control, inspections, production auditing, or continuous improvement initiatives Ability to identify installation defects and coordinate corrective actions Inventory control, logistics, or materials management experience Why Join Seifert Transit Graphics?
