Key Responsibilities of the Assistant General Counsel, Supply Chain and Procurement Role Proven leadership experience or readiness to step into one: you'll supervise and mentor a team of two attorneys, providing substantive guidance, reviewing their work product, and helping develop their careers while driving consistency across the group's commercial output. Substantial experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating procurement, supply chain, construction, engineering, EPC, subcontract, equipment, material, services, and other major commercial agreements — ideally as a go-to resource business partners already seek out for the toughest deals. Deep experience supporting complex construction, industrial, energy, infrastructure, and major capital project matters, with the judgment to spot issues before they become problems. Sophisticated command of commercial risk allocation, project execution, procurement strategy, supplier management, prime contract flow-downs, change management, project controls, pricing concepts, schedule impacts, and claims avoidance — the full toolkit for protecting the company's interests on high-stakes projects. A natural collaborator who builds trust across procurement, supply chain, project, commercial, engineering, finance, risk, compliance, and executive stakeholders — someone who leads through influence as much as expertise. Qualifications for the Assistant General Counsel, Supply Chain and Procurement 10+ years' experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating high dollar supply chain and procurement transactions for major projects Strong knowledge of supply chain, procurement and construction industry transactions Executive presence to lead a team of attorneys and collaborate with business leaders Active Bar license, Texas preferred, but will relocate a top candidate Position Details of the Assistant General Counsel, Supply Chain and Procurement Type of role: In-House Counsel Schedule: Full-time Location: Onsite in San Antonio, TX Compensation Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, and credentials.
