Assistant Fleet Maintenance Manager

Assistant Maintenance Manager for Engineering, Maintenance & Asset Management. Support daily maintenance operations for bus fleets and facilities by coordinating technicians and external vendors, and administering preventive maintenance programs to promote safe, reliable, and on-time service. Key Duties Oversee maintenance work orders and ensure accurate completion and documentation. Manage parts and inventory, including tracking usage and coordinating replenishment. Maintain and update CMMS records; monitor asset condition and performance. Track and help control maintenance budgets. Assist the Maintenance Manager in driving safety practices and regulatory compliance. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements. Partner with operations teams to reduce downtime and maintain high customer service standards. Qualifications & skills: Strong coordination and communication skills; working knowledge of preventive maintenance, maintenance documentation systems (CMMS), inventory/parts management, and budget monitoring; commitment to safety and regulatory compliance; ability to support continuous improvement and cross-team collaboration.
