Mission of the Role

The Assistant Director of Operations helps build a restaurant known for strong leaders, operational excellence, and remarkable guest experiences. This role partners closely with the Operations Director and Operator to develop people, strengthen systems, and ensure the restaurant runs at a high level every day.


This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who wants to grow into higher-level restaurant leadership and take ownership of real responsibility.


You will lead from the front and set the standard for the team.


What You’ll Be Responsible For


Operational Leadership

  • Lead shifts and remain actively involved in daily execution
  • Strengthen kitchen systems, efficiency, and organization
  • Ensure proper staffing and deployment
  • Oversee cleanliness, facilities, and equipment care
  • Support execution of catering and high-volume production
  • Maintain high standards for food safety and quality
  • Hold teams accountable to labor and food cost systems
  • Identify and solve operational problems

You will lead from the front and set the tone for the team.


People & Leadership Development

  • Help hire, onboard, and train team members and leaders
  • Coach and develop shift leaders
  • Build accountability and ownership within the team
  • Provide clear feedback and direction
  • Strengthen culture and communication
  • Help grow future leaders

Compensation & Benefits


Pay: $22–30/hour based on experience

Hours: Full-time (45–50 hours/week)

Bonus: Performance-based bonus available

Schedule: Evenings and Saturdays required; Sundays off
