line inside and out as well as much of the wholesale industry, starting from creating an item to selling. Organization and ability to multi-task are key.
Main Responsibilities:
• Review and correspond with 40 vendors (mostly in China)
• Request quotes and samples for 350-450 items to review.
• Finalize item details and requirements for system processing
• Organize and distribute samples among 8 showrooms.
• Manage the New Item Listing and Showroom Sample Distribution.
• Manage the process of adding new vendors for all Product Managers.
• Coordinate the majority of lighting catalog production with photographer and designer including creating the catalog on PowerPoint and proofing with the designer.
• Assist with showroom set up and support sales staff in trade shows including Atlanta, Dallas, and Las Vegas showrooms. Must physically help with set up in January
• Discuss with sales representatives and place special customer orders with vendors including creating marketing materials, quote sheets and more.
• Collaborate with in-house designer on all packaging by providing product information, brainstorming designs, and proofing the designs.
• Support marketing department on customer needs including implementation of new laws and product requirements with vendors.
• Propose new ideas with Product Manager to discuss with vendors
