Summary We are seeking a Assistant Branch Manager/Dispatcher to assist in leading our operations at Wilbea Medical Equipment. This role is crucial in overseeing branch activities, driving sales growth, and ensuring operational excellence. Responsibilities Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems. Studies records and recommends remedial actions for reported non-usable, slow moving, and excess stock. Manage inventory procurement and distribution. Reviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures, and to determine adequacy of stock levels. Tracks actual money spent and compares it to budget for all income and expenses. Schedules work for special and periodic inventories. Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies. Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow. Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures. Supervise all cleaning and repairs to ensure compliance, maintain clean office, warehouse, and maintain equipment in proper condition and working order Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates. Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances by providing counseling and guidance to staff as needed. Prepares composite reports from individual reports of subordinates. Maintain and update all manuals as needed. Maintain daily paperwork. Maintain Patient files/records. Communicate issues/problems with supervisor to maintain a smooth office operation to better serve our Hospice contracts. Interview and hire staff as needed. Perform annual employee evaluations and ensure that each employee is trained and aware of all company policies and procedures. Main staff scheduling. Conduct training In-Services for Hospices upon Request. Completes all Dispatcher duties for location. Qualifications At least 21 years old Ability to lift up to 90 lbs Valid driver's license and impeccable driving record Ability to pass a background and drug test Capable of working in a tobacco free environment Excellent communication skills Caring and personable demeanor 2+ years of experience in the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) industry is preferred.
